Botox Plastic Surgery

Patients who come to me because they want to change their lips do so for one of two reasons. Some of us are born with thin lips and others' lips become thinner with age. In the last few years, plump lips are seen as more desirable, so there's been more interest in lip augmentation. It is possible to increase fullness in your lips.

The technique I prefer is potentially permanent and uses your own body tissues. By removing a small piece of dermis (a dense layer of skin under the epidermis or top layer) and making very small incisions at the outer edges of your lip, I can thread this tissue in the lips. The result is fuller, more prominent lips. As an alternative, I may use fat from your body to enlarge your lips.

Plastic Surgery Recovery

Once the swelling subsides in about two weeks, you'll be pleased with how much fuller your lips appear.
