Plastic Surgery Skin

Not many of us retain our perfectly smooth baby skin. However, we can make improvements in our environmentally damaged, dry and less than perfect adult skin. Surgery can't restore that baby skin, but if my patients want to have better-looking skin, I usually make a few suggestions. Laser skin resurfacing addresses some of the problem areas on the face — vertical lines around the mouth, fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes. Some want their entire face to be resurfaced. Under the dry and wrinkled skin, is a layer of more moist, smoother skin. Removing the top layers and allowing the deeper, healthier skin on the face to emerge, creates a fresh, more alive look to the skin.

Laser skin resurfacing can be done along with other cosmetic procedures, or for a small area of the face, or for the entire face.

Plastic Surgery Recovery

Recovery from this surgery may be lengthy. You may stay red for several weeks or rarely even months, but you will improve over time. But when the redness subsides, you'll be pleased with the improved smoothness of your skin.
