Eyes Plastic Surgery

My patients who have eyelift surgery are usually very pleased with the results. Friends and family members say they look refreshed, as though they've just come back from vacation or had a few good nights of sleep. Acquaintances may not even realize they've had surgery.

Your eyes are a vital part of your appearance, part of your identity. In addition to the functional qualities, we communicate and show expression with our eyes. Often the first signs of aging are around the eyes. You want to show them off in the best possible way.

Each patient may need something slightly different to bring about the result you want. Most people have what is called an eyelid lift to eliminate or diminish the excess skin above and below the eyes. Often I will move excess fat from an area around the eyes or elsewhere on the body to restore volume to the places where gravity caused hollowing. An eyelift may be combined with a browlift to elevate a drooping forehead.

Plastic Surgery Recovery

You'll be bruised and swollen for at least two weeks, but after that you'll notice you look revived and refreshed.
